DEANO SIMONIDIS

 

Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1992.

Gain Accreditation as a Family Law Specialist in 1997.

 

Holds a Bachelor of Laws from University of Queensland.

 

Deano has been practicing as a solicitor since 1992, and founded Simonidis Shoebridge Lawyers in 2001 with Greg Shoebridge.  Deano is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and is experienced in all areas of family law and de facto law.  Deano is available to meet with clients at both our Gold Coast and Brisbane offices.

 

Outside of the office Deano is a keen fisherman who enjoys spending time with his family on his boat.

LUKE STEEL 

 

Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2003.

Admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2004.

 

Holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business (Journalism) from the University of Queensland.

 

Luke joined Simonidis Shoebridge Lawyers in 2002 and is an Associate of the firm.  Luke is based at our Brisbane offices and is experienced in all areas of family law and de facto law, with a particular interest in property matters. 

 

Luke is a regular volunteer at the Caxton Legal Centre in New Farm where he provides free legal advice.

 

Luke is a sporting tragic, and his social activities typically revolve around all manner of sports, particularly horse racing and cricket.

ANDREW LANDER

 

Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2003.

 

Holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and Bachelors degree in Social Work (Honours) from James Cook University.

 

Andrew joined Simonidis Shoebridge Lawyers in 2005 and is based primarily at our Gold Coast office.

 

Prior to joining Simonidis Shoebridge Lawyers Andrew practiced at a general law firm in Brisbane.  This gave Andrew invaluable experience in various areas of law and gave him a particular passion for social justice issues. Andrew now specialises in family law.

 

Andrew is fluent in Greek, and his interests outside of work include art, bush walking, surfing, and socialising with friends and family.

REGINA CHAPPLE

 

Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2003.

Admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2004.

 

Regina holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland.  Regina also has a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.  Regina has recently completed her Master of Laws at the Queensland University of Technology.

 

Regina joined Simonidis Shoebridge Lawyers in April 2004 as a solicitor and is based at our Brisbane offices. Regina enjoys working with clients on both children and property matters.

 

Regina enjoys spending time with friends, reading and watching movies.

JEFF BUNNING 

 

Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2004.

Admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2005.

 

Jeff holds a Bachelor and Laws, Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Griffith University.  He undertook articles at Bennett Carroll and Gibbons Solicitors, Mt Gravatt.

 

Jeff joined the firm in March 2004, and is based at our Brisbane offices.  Jeff has a particular interest in complex Federal Magistrates and Family Court matters relating to children.   

 

Jeff regularly volunteers at the Caxton Legal Centre, New Farm and has taught the Family Law Clinic for Griffith University.

 

Jeff enjoys travelling and socialising with friends and family.

DEAN FOLEY

 

Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2006.

Admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2007.

 

Dean holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Griffith University.

 

Prior to his admission as a solicitor Dean worked as a clerk at Simonidis Shoebridge Lawyers for a number of years, and undertook an articles of clerkship under Greg Shoebridge.

 

Dean is a regular contributor to a number of legal journals, and is interested in all areas of family law, de facto law, child support, and child safety.  Dean is also a regular volunteer at the Caxton Legal Centre in New Farm.

 

In his social life Dean enjoys fishing, surfing, cycling and socialising with family and friends.
